Max Control SMO

The Max Control SMO (supramellolar orthosis) is designed for children who experience overpronation or supination, or who have difficulty self-correcting their alignment. Featuring a full footplate, heel support, and dorsal wings, this product provides full control of the midfoot while allowing for plantar flexion and dorsiflexion. This SMO improves balance and improves foot and ankle alignment, helping children move with greater stability and confidence on the ground and in an upright position.

Contraindications:
Patient will benefit from more dynamic movements
Requires greater sagittal plane support (may benefit from an AFO)

Alignment Control:
These devices provide maximum support and positioning with limited flexibility within the device and eliminate high pitch. Patients can actively correct when prompted.
