Myoelectronic (Bionic) Arm Prostheses

 

Myoelectric prostheses are advanced technology products that move by sensing the user's muscle signals. SGK pays the following rates for such prostheses:

 

Below Elbow 2-Channel Myoelectric Prosthesis: 69,630 TL

Below Elbow 4-Channel Myoelectric Prosthesis: 89,796 TL

Above Elbow 2-Channel Myoelectric Prosthesis: 79,716 TL

Above Elbow 4-Channel Myoelectric Prosthesis: 108,122 TL

SGK deducts 20% from these payments for employees and 10% for retirees.

 

These prostheses are advanced technology products that mimic the user's natural movements by sensing muscle signals. SGK makes a certain payment for such prostheses. However, certain rates are deducted from this payment depending on the patient's working status.

 

Ornamental (Cosmetic) Hand and Arm Prostheses

 

SGK payment amounts for ornamental prostheses used for aesthetic purposes:

 

Below Elbow Ornamental Hand Prosthesis: 7,490 TL

Above Elbow Ornamental Arm Prosthesis: 12,577 TL

A 20% deduction is applied to employees and 10% to retirees in these payments.

 

Silicone and Bionic Finger Prostheses

 

SGK does not pay for custom-made silicone hand or arm prostheses or bionic finger prostheses. However, in some cases, private health insurance or other social assistance programs may provide support for such prostheses.
