As of 2025, the Social Security Institution (SGK) in Türkiye will provide financial support at certain rates for foot prostheses. These supports vary depending on the type of prosthesis, its technological features and the patient's working status.

Conditions for Benefiting from SGK Support

 

The following conditions must be met in order to benefit from SGK foot prosthesis supports:

 

Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey

Being insured under SGK, being a Bağ-Kur member, retired or under general health insurance (GSS)

A health board report indicating the need for a prosthesis from a hospital with an SGK agreement

A prosthesis prescription issued by a specialist doctor

A bill from the institution where the prosthesis was provided
